Warm the product up in the microwave (or towel caddy).

The rice will expand and release moisture.

The heat and moisture stimulates the herbs and spices.

When the product touches the skin the moisture and heat will open the pores.

There will be a dermal absorption of the herbs and spices.

The rice will continue to expand and contract (as long as you don't cook it, follow the heating table instructions) for many years.

The whole herbs and spices will dissipate. For home use you can get 3 to 5 years of use. For a professional setting where the product is heated three or four times a day this will reduce to a year.

When not using the product store in the zip lock bag in the freezer, your herbs and spices will last the longest this way. Plus if you decide to use the product cold it is available.

You can go directly form the freezer to the microwave.
